First time I accidentally misread the topic "preview event completely ruined my cheap cookie cutter builds". If you take a moment to think this over you'll probably see I wasn't that bad off the mark.

That's all please let this thread die now.

Like ANet said its Beta Test. Is whole purpose is to test the new professions on a large scale to see how well they work against other professions. Aswell as how the community takes to them. The data ANet collected from this weekend will be invaluable for them. Since it will allow them to help balance the professions for Nightfall.

Probably the only complaint people could have had about the Dervish after the sand shards fix is the fact that they had two ~100 armor ignoring PBAoE spells on their bar that weren't elite and could be spammed (which will probably recieve a the nerf bat to 60-80). Besides that the conditions which the Dervish inflicts have short timers compared to other skills. The Dervish is really going to be an easy target in any form of organized PvP. Anti-caster works wonders with them because they constantly need to keep putting enchantments on themselves to be useful. I bet few people even thought to backfire one of those enchant spammers.

Really the class people should worry about is the Paragon. Motivation is ridiculous... No really. You are like a monk, except with mostly AoE non spell skills. Command and Leadership also have their strong points. Spear is pretty decent with the elite that inflicts Dazed if the target has a condition on them.

It looks like most people were having a lot of fun on the weekend with the Nightfall preview. Sorry you guys didn't.
